Niger Airlines serves key destinations within Niger which serve the local and International markets allowing them to save time and effort travelling the traditional way, making air travel affordable between forgotten or undeserved routes.Our objective is to establish and operate a new regional and international airline aiming specifically at linking Western Africa with the rapidly expanding markets of Southern Africa, Middle East, and global destinations.
Niger Airlines was founded in July 31 2012 by Niger economic operators Niger Airlines SA ,the ambition was to fill the gap left by the defunct Air Niger and to contribute opening up the Niger in accordance with the general policy of opening up the Republic of Niger. As a Limited company Niger Airlines has proven itself in the first hours of its foundation by giving vocation for serving large cities, mining and petroleum cities in Niger, and also the transport of pilgrims to the holy land in Mecca and Medina. The expected impact of the creation of Niger Airlines undoubtedly results the creation of jobs, regular servicing of domestic air ports in Niger for the first two months, the development of trade, a significant contribution to economic and social development of Niger. Niger Airlines obtained its AOC and launched flight operations on May 4, 2014 at Diori Hamani International Airport in Niamey, in presence of administrative and traditional authorities of the country.Our IATA code: 6N , ICAO: NIN Currently operating two Fokker 50 flying within Niger domestic routes, with process to purchase two ATR 72-500 and two A320 by the end of 2021.
Mission: The proposed new airline’s mission, simply stated, is to fill a niche in the growing air‐travel and cargo markets linking Western Africa, and points beyond, to Southern Africa and Middle East; to achieve high, load factors by identifying and serving key routes and city pairs currently unserved, under‐served, or poorly served, and where significant unmet demand exists; and to set a new standard for air service and professionalism both within the target market region and beyond. By utilizing the latest aviation, electronic, and informational technologies, and by designing effective and efficient systems and building in quality control from the outset, we aim to ensure the highest level of service, operations, and safety, all based around the needs, wants, comfort, and convenience of the passenger and the cargo client. This combination of technology, service orientation, and quality oversight will help keep costs at a minimum and maximize profits to the airline and its investors. It also will help build the strong customer satisfaction and excellent reputation that will enable the airline to build solid, and crucially important, interline arrangements necessary to expand its scope and customer attraction in the early stages, and which will lead to continued long‐term growth both within the target market area and, looking toward the future, beyond.
Future Plans: In the near future plans to operate to West and Central Africa with plans also to serve destinations such as Jeddah and Dubai.
Awards: Niger Airlines received an honorary award in January 5, 2014 by the Communication Agency “SUD CONTACT” and official expressions of satisfaction respectively from the Office of the Organization of Hajj and Umrah (COHO) and also from the National Union of Pilgrimage Agencies of Niger(SNAP).

► One hand luggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg is allowed per person on Niger Airlines flights.
► The maximum length of this baggage may not exceed 76 cm to 38 cm wide and 23 cm high.
► Note that if hand luggage do not meet the size and / or weight of the above, it then will taken and calculated with checked in baggage.
► Niger Airlines checked in bags policy is 20 KG for each passenger in our domestic routes, and 30 kg on international flights.
► Please make sure that you record your details on each bag.
Excess baggage: A tariff surcharge will be charged if exceeded the permitted weight. The excess baggage is charged CFA 3000 per Kg.
► Furthermore and in accordance with the new security measures for the transport of liquids in the cabin, are allowed only the bottles and tubes of 100 ml maximum each arranged in a clear plastic bag closed of a size of about 20 cm by 20 cm (one bag per person).
► Liquids must be placed necessarily hold baggage including shopping Duty free on international flights or risk being confiscated at security control with the exception of those contained in a clear plastic bag conforms to standards. However, are accepted exceptionally baby food necessary for the journey, liquid medications with orders or certificates (syrup, insulin …).

Can I change the date of my travel?
Yes, any changes before the flight will be made with a charged fee of 50€, after flight date a charge of 100€, plus any difference on the ticket fare.
Can I refund/cancel my ticket?
No, tickets are not refundable.
Can I change the name or transfer my ticket to someone else?
No, Name transfer or change is not allowed.
How long the ticket is is valid for?
The ticket is valid for one month.
